I've just had my first post ever accepted (well, it was my first submitted) into a blog carnival, namely the Carnival of Personal Finance. This week, it's being hosted at The Simple Dollar.

For the carnival, I submitted the 5 Ways Online Bill Pay Saves You Money.

There are a lot of good financial tips on this week's carnival, but not too many dealing with using the Internet to save (and make) you money.

However, Wallet Rehab has put together The Ultimate Guide to Filing your Taxes On-line For Free.

You can go directly to the IRS to file electronically for free via the website. That only requirement is that you have to have an adjusted gross income of less than$52,000. In other words, most of us can file for free via the IRS website.

Free File allows taxpayers with an Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of $52,000 or less in 2006 to e-file their federal tax returns for free. That means 70 percent of all taxpayers
