Do you ever forget when you need to pay your bills? Are you dropping those checks in the mail the day before the bill is due?

You're not alone.

According to Liz Pulliam Weston, folks in their 20s and 30s are the biggest offenders when it comes to paying their bills on time.

One out of 10 families headed by twentysomethings was at least 60 days late on a bill. Only folks in their 30s had a higher delinquency rate, with nearly 12% 60 days or more late.

There's a simple solution to this problem: online bill pay.

Nearly every utility provider — phone, Internet, cable, electric, cell phone, satellite — offers automatic payments. You put in your information, they take their payment, and sometimes they cut you a deal.

I don't worry about paying my cell phone, landline, cable/Internet and electric bills anymore — they're all set to be paid automatically. Of course, I check to make sure everything looks right, but the convenience and reduced stress saves me a time and money.
