And the rate dropping continues … again.

Reader Mark writes in to let us know that Emigrant Direct has dropped their American Dream Savings Account to 4.75% APY.

Emigrant used to offer a 5.05% APY, similar to HSBC, which just dropped its rate to 4.50% APY.

WTDirect (affiliate link) has dropped their savings account to 5.15%, making it still one of the highest rates available (thanks to Mark again).

Salem Five Direct, whose eOne account offers no montly fees/balance and free ATM withdrawals, has fallen from a 5.30% APY (for accounts above $100k) to 5.10% APY.

Here are Salem Five's new rates:
4.70% for $0-$9,999;
4.80% for $10,000-$24,999;
4.90% for $25,000-$99,999;
5.10% for $100,000-$999,999;
0.50% for $1,000,000 or more.
