Barely two weeks after their last rate drop, WTDirect's online savings account (affiliate link) has fallen again.
The WTDirect savings account is now down to 5.06% APY, falling from the only temporary 5.15%.
AmTrust Direct has also taken a steady-dive approach, dropping their rates multiple times with apparently no warnings about the cuts (says commenter tightwad).
But wait, don't ct so soon.
The 5.06% APY is only a temporary, 60-day rate for savers with under $10,000 in the account.
After 60 days, if the account doesn't have at least $10,000, the rate is pathetic: 0.60%.
WTDirect is the online arm of Wilmington Trust, headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware.
