I have a couple of checks sitting around that I need to cash, but I just can't seem to find the time to go to the ATM.
It may not sound like a huge deal, but now that I'm working at home full time, I'm not out running around with the chance to stop at the ATM and deposit the checks.
And since I rarely ever carry cash, I don't have any reason to stop at the ATM. Except to deposit these checks.
Online banking is so easy. Direct deposit, PayPal and ACH transfers have basically taken away any reason I ever need to go to the bank (except to get those annoying Medallion Signature Guarantees).
Well, hopefully I'll get to the ATM soon enough. These checks are burning a hole in my wallet.

That's one problem I don't have, Anytime I get a check, I make sure it gets to the bank ASAP.
I just recently cashed a check I had been holding on to for about two weeks. I still don't know why I held onto it for so long. Everyday the money isn't in my savings account is another day of lost compound interest. I use to visit the bank once a week, but now I go once every three or four weeks. Maybe that explains it.
